Westlake United Church Trust (WUCT) is a non-profit organisation, established in February 2002, by various churches in Cape Town. We are assisting the residents of Westlake Village who were previously living in shacks and have now been rehoused in low-cost government housing, to improve their quality of life and to become a self-sustaining, thriving community.

Our Community Needs change with the Seasons, the School Calendar and with the Economy.
We know that our needs are always changing, from stationery in January, to warm blankets and spare clothing in July, therefore we believe in keeping our fingers on the pulse of our community.
If you are able to assist, please see below the link to our Wish List, which we will strive to keep up to date at all times, to ensure that your much appreciated donations are utilized to their full potential!
WUCT was born from the work of a small group of committed Christians in the Tokai and Constantia parishes. It started with provision of food and clothing to those in need in the community, through to developing a strategy for an onsite building, crèche and pre-school and then into the area of health and welfare support, skills training and youth development.
The WUCT team extends well beyond the people directly employed by the Trust, each of whom is a star in their own right, from Chris our caretaker to Pieter our General Manager, Patricia our receptionist, and Veronica, an Enrolled Nurse Assistant and Community Healthcare Worker; each member of the management and team integral to delivery the service we do.
