The Emmanuel Educare Centre is a registered Early Child Development Center and operates under the auspices of WUCT and is supported by the Western Cape Department of Education. We have 180 learners that are accommodated in 6 classrooms with a teacher and an assistant.

The school feeds 60 Grade 1 learners into Westlake Primary school each year. The quality of the Education is well known in the area.

Each child also receives 2 healthy balanced meals a day and they are able to enjoy an outdoor playground in our back garden to help strengthen and develop motor skills.

Our newly-appointed Principal, Monique Smit, has been a teacher at the school for several years and coordinates activities, educational plans and the feeding scheme with ease.

The kitchen is staffed with 3 Westlake community members. They work with nutritionalists and food preparation consultants to ensure that meals are balanced, healthy and packed with goodness and taste. On special occasions, they also treat staff and visitors with a pancake or two.
